Our goal with dark circles is to reduce the appearance not to completely get rid of it as it is not possible .

We need to find the cause of dark circles first and then address them dark circles are not just due to darkening of skin under the eyes but also due to structural defects of the areas around the eyes.

Here is how you can choose the w hat will suit

✅Dark skin : when you stretch the skin in the under eye area , if you see a visible difference in colour between under eye skin and the colour of your cheeks, then you need to use creams with skin lightening agents. Use it consistently twice a day for 3 months to see improvement.
▪️If creams don’t help then a few sessions of chemical peels and q switched laser also helps in lightening the darkness .

✅Puffiness : looks for serums with caffeine in them. Caffeine is a vasoconstrictor meaning that it reduces width of vessels and fluid collection. This helps in reducing puffiness.
▪️If there is fat protrusion and prominent eye bags, then caffeine will not help

✅Bluishish : Under eye area can look dark because of prominent blood vessels. Theme you stretch the skin and you see large blood vessels in the under eye, then that could be the reason for darkness. It also give a a bluish hue.
Serums with vitamin K helps in reducing appearance.
